University Students Research Consortium. Eureka AIDA
The International Research Consortium within the Eureka Workshop 2023 aims to provide students the opportunity to obtain recognition for the quality of their research, according to the evaluation of expert researchers. There will be three participation modalities:
Bachelor students: The best-evaluated works will receive ?The Best Bachelor Award?.
Master students. The best-evaluated works will receive ?The Best Master Award?.
Doctoral students.
1st and 2nd year doctoral students: PhD students in the first or second year of their research will have the opportunity to present their work and get feedback from experts in the field.
3rd and 4th year doctoral students: A committee of experts will evaluate the research work of 3rd and 4th year PhD students. The best-evaluated works will receive an invitation to publish their research in one of the special issues of the Workshop. In case of being accepted by the journal, Eurekas Community will cover the article processing charges.
Those students who submit and present an extended abstract in the Workshop, derived from their research Bachelor, Master, or Doctoral work will be able to participate. Students should submit to eureka2023@ujaen.es an email with the following (as a single PDF file):
An initial page with the following information
Header indicating University Research Consortium (This is compulsory)
Student's full name and affiliation
Student's academic level (master's or doctoral degrees)
If applicable, thesis title, name of the thesis supervisor, the status of the thesis: initial phase, approved protocol, intermediate phase, thesis to be completed, or thesis recently completed, title of the extended abstract (the one submitted through eureka2023@ujaen.es)
Document signed by the supervisor authorizing the student to present the work at the consortium
A two-page extended abstract, including references, that summarizes:
The problem addressed and the limits of the research
The specific contributions made (what is new in your approach)
Directions for the remaining work
How the research you are trying to do is done today?
A curriculum vitae (two pages maximum) with background (name, university), education (degree sought, year/status in degree, previous degrees), employment, and relevant experience in research (publications, presentations, conferences attended, among others).
Consortium submission procedure
Authors should submit an abstract through the website. Once the abstract has been accepted by the organization, an extended abstract with the information above should be sent to eureka2023@ujaen.es
