Dear Colleagues,
The overall focus of this Special Issue is to explore the topic of the "Large-Scale Integration of Renewable Energy in Electric Systems" within the context of the CYTED project?RIBIERSE (https://www.cyted.org/RIBIERSE-CYTED). The scope of this Special Issue encompasses various aspects of the chain, including technical, economic, and policy considerations. Moreover, the purpose of this Special Issue is to provide a platform for researchers, industry professionals, and policymakers to share their findings, insights, and experiences regarding the challenges and opportunities associated with the integration of renewable energy sources and electric vehicles into electric systems on a large scale. The focus of this Special Issue is on the integration of renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal, into existing electric systems and electric vehicles. It aims to address the technical, economic, and policy aspects of this integration, exploring innovative approaches, best practices, and lessons learned. This Special Issue will also aim to bridge the gap between academia and industry by featuring articles that not only present theoretical frameworks but also highlight practical implications and applications.
